for example the 4th and 5th of mines are 00, some are C1 and A6, these all use different power boards. There may be more then a few, you can tell by the 4th and 5th characters of the serial number. I think the tvs you worked on were different model, there, are about 3 revisions. Havent been able to solve the problem yet, im no TV repair man, i service computersįuse? Which fuse, the only fuse i saw, was the one thats in a small compartment by where the cord plugs into the back of the tv. Do you fix it? Can you help me fix my? Thank you. Im sorry, i know im a noob, but i cant find and busted capacitors. I thought the pic i posted was the power supply board, there are only 2 other boards, one is the main control board and the other is the tuner board. Keep looking as they are there because I have repaired 5 of these sets!Good luck! That is not the correct board! They will be on another board. I dont see any caps that are bulged, can u see them in the picture? Replace with ( and your problem is solved. Look closely at the power supply board and you will see 2 capacitors 10 volts) and they will be puffed up on the ends. (This post was edited by samuelsteven on Dec 30, 2008, 7:49 AM)
I am getting power to the power supply, but I dont know how to completely test the power supply, can someone assist me? I hear a bad control board can stop power as well. The TV has no power at all, the red stand by light doesnt even come on when plugged in. Polaroid FLM-3232 no power "picture inside"
